I’m currently setting up multiple computers with Windows 10, and I’m wondering if I can use a single "Windows 10 Key" to activate Windows on more than one PC. I’ve heard that some product keys are limited to a single device, while others can be used on multiple devices if they’re retail keys.

For those who’ve activated multiple PCs with a "Windows 10 Key", what’s been your experience? Were you able to use the same key on several machines, or did you need to buy a new key for each one? I’m particularly interested in hearing if anyone has used a volume license or other multi-PC activation methods.
